Subject	Different lens designs for JDM clear corner lights?

Message	Forgive me if I should know this, but what is the background on the two lens designs for the OEM jdm turn lights? I assume this one is the earlier years as the tiny square pattern matches the clear area on our stock lights And is this from the later years? I know the second matches the foglights and all, but I'm not sure I'm too keen on the fog light design either. With powertrix ducts likely in my future there would be no need to match the columnar lens design.
